I am Antoine, a MD/PhD, currently completing my residency in neonatology in France. Since 2017, I have been in and out of Dr. Sébire’s lab and Jean Monet Hospital in France. My research in the lab focuses on the impact of neonatal infection on the blood-brain barrier. When I’m back in France, I crave Tim Hortons, dream about poutine, and dearly miss the neighbourhood of Jean Talon market. In other words, I am a Québécois at heart. So much so that my newborn has now become a Canadian citizen (MJ is his godmother!).
